Therapist – Facilitator – Podcaster
Our bodies learn from everything we live through.
Sometimes what once helped us survive becomes the very thing that makes it difficult to rest, connect, trust ourselves, or feel fully present in our own lives.
I help people become curious about what their nervous system has learned — not so we can overpower those protective responses, but so the body can begin to discover that more is possible.
More capacity. More choice. More connection. More access to yourself.
Because healing is not about staying calm. It is about becoming increasingly available to your own life.

Meet Theresa
Theresa Hubbard is a licensed mental health professional with over 35,000 hours of direct client experience. Her work centers on trauma, anxiety, nervous-system regulation, and helping people better understand the ways their bodies have learned to protect them. With a deeply curious, compassionate, and experiential approach, Theresa supports individuals, couples, and families in developing greater capacity, agency, connection, and trust in themselves. Through her clinical practice, podcast, Shiftwave intensives, retreats, workshops, continuing education, and public speaking, she helps people become more available to themselves — with greater freedom to rest, connect, create, choose, and move toward what truly matters.
Life can be complicated, painful, and uncertain. Sometimes we know what we want, but our bodies and old patterns make it difficult to move toward it.
I offer a space where you do not have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or already know the answer. Together, we can become curious about what your mind and body are communicating, what has helped you survive, and what may be ready to change.
The work is not about forcing yourself to be different. It is about helping more of you become available to you — with greater capacity, choice, connection, and freedom to move toward what truly matters.
